Blackwell, Shirley Balance

Shirley Balance Blackwell is a bona fide "desert rat," born and raised in mining and ranching towns in Arizona and New Mexico; she claims the Land of Enchantment as home. She and her husband live in the high desert 20 miles outside Albuquerque. In retirement after careers in national security, the Blackwells indulge each others' passions for poetry and music.
