Susan Blackmon has enjoyed reading historical novels all her life. With a talent for writing it was only natural for her to try her hand at creating one of her own. All that was missing was inspiration. An unexpected cruise ship detour to Key West and a few history tours later, Max and Abby's story began. When Susan isn't working full-time and writing part-time, she enjoys being with her family, hiking waterfalls, reading and scrapbooking.
