Conrad Black is the founder of the National Post, and was for 15 years the chairman of Britain's Telegraph Group of newspapers, and from 1996 to 2000 the chairman of Southam, Canada's leading newspaper company. He is also a writer and commentator, and the author of biographies of Maurice Duplessis, Franklin D. Roosevelt, and Richard M. Nixon, and an autobiography.
