After coming to China for the first time, being a teacher at a university, the author always wanted to find a way to return to this chaos. When he got a chance to study Mandarin at a Chinese university he did not hesitate to quit his steady career and rushed back to the country he loves. He has no regrets about spending his life within the smog and can't possibly imagine what it will be like to return to a country with less people - and less fun every day.
