Jeni grew up in Southfield, Michigan; a suburb bordering Detroit. She was artistic, resourceful and loved. An avid painter, drawer, musician, writer, and general all-around creator. Around the age of eight, her parents divorced. She lived primarily with her father until he moved away to Florida for a job while she and her brother were in college. She visited frequently until moving to Florida as well only a few years before he was diagnosed with an inoperable, stage four brain tumor.
