Billard, Robert G.

Robert Billard, born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, has lived in various places across Canada in an effort to understand both his personal and the national identity. He has been writing since grade school, winning the provincial library award for fiction short story at the age of 13.

He wrote his first novel in 1991 just to prove his English Major Girlfriend wrong who said he "couldn't do it." He did and this book rests locked away on a shelf in his Vancouver home.
