John Biggs is the author Black Hat: Misfits, Criminals, and Scammers in the Internet Age, published by Apress in June, 2004. John is currently Senior Editor at Gizmodo.com, the gadgets weblog with 200,000 unique visitors per day as well as Editor of MacMiniGear.com, a popular Mac Mini site. I have written for Linux Journal and the New York Times on open source and security. I've worked for over ten years in the IT industry and recently completed a Master's Degree in Business and Economic Reporting at NYU.
