Frank Biermann is Professor of Global Sustainability Governance with the Copernicus Institute of Sustainable Development at Utrecht University, the Netherlands. He is the author, coauthor, or editor of fifteen books, including "Managers of Global Change: The Influence of International Environmental Bureaucracies" (coedited with Bernd Siebenhuner), "Global Environmental Governance Reconsidered" (coedited with Philipp Pattberg), and "Earth System Governance: World Politics in the Anthropocene", all three published by the MIT Press.
