John F. Bibby is professor emeritus of political science at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a nationally recognized scholar in the field of political parties and elections. He is a past chair of the political parties section of the American Political Science Association and the 2001 recipient of the section's Samuel J. Eldersveld Lifetime Achievement Award.
