Bevilaqua, Nancy

Nancy Bevilaqua was born in New York City in 1961. She attended Reed College and NYU's M.A. Program in English/Creative Writing (Poetry). In 1988 she started working as a case manager/counselor in New York City for people with AIDS, the homeless, and people with substance abuse issues. Later she worked as a freelance travel writer, and her articles were published in National Geographic Traveler, Coastal Living, the inflight magazines for Delta, Continental, and Southwest Airlines, the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, and other publications.
