Berger, Morroe

Morroe Berger was professor of sociology and director of the Program in Near Eastern Studies at Princeton University. His many books and articles reflect his varied interests, including the Middle East, race relations, and jazz. His final works were Real and Imagined Worlds: The Novel and Social Science, and Benny Carter: A Life in American Music.
