Berengueres, Jose

Dr. Jose Berengueres is assistant professor at UAE University where he teaches Design Thinking 101. He received an MEE from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, Barcelona in 1999 and a PhD in bio-inspired robotics from Tokyo Tech in 2007 where he developed climbing robots. He has worked as a consultant in Germany, Switzerland and Barcelona. He has participated in tech startups such as www.estaesmiboda.com. He is consultant the investment fund: www.koalasicav.com, www.catrealestate.com. His research focus is applying robotics to effect social change.
