I am an author, a former teacher, guidance counselor, small business owner and current parent and grandparent. My goal in writing is to demystify the complexities of life to children in both picture books and chapter books. My adventure stories feature positive role models showing the advantages of cooperation and sharing. In pictures and words, I endeavor to bring a greater understanding of issues children face such as domestic abuse, bullying, diabetes, Internet safety, dementia and interpersonal relationships.
