Ann Marie Waterhouse is a shamanic teacher and healer, and a Reiki Master. She holds a Master of Arts degree in human development from St. Mary's University of Minnesota. She facilitates two shamanic drumming circles that meet monthly, and is an ordained minister in the Circle of the Sacred Earth Church. To the last day of her husband's life, she regularly visited him at the assisted living home where he lived.
