Benedict, Susan

Susan Benedict is a fifth-grade teacher at the Moharimet School in Madbury, New Hampshire. She also teaches writing courses at the University of Southern Maine. In 1987 she earned her Ed.D. in reading and writing from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. Susan contributed a chapter on her classroom research in Breaking Ground: Teachers Relate Reading and Writing in the Elementary School (Heinemann, 1985) and is a frequent speaker at conferences.
