Born and raised in Trenton, Illinois, I am a small town girl who has always had aspirations of becoming a successful writer. I believe every writer has a book tucked somewhere inside of them. My dream to become a published author came true with the two-book series of Seams and Unraveled. Since then, I have written, Timing. I am a former journalist, a newspaper reporter, who became a stay-at-home mom when my two children were born. My second child, a son, was diagnosed with autism and that reality changed my life.
