Bell, Charles A.

Charles Bell is a Detroit, Michigan native and graduate of Detroit Public Schools. He is deeply interested in urban education reform and social problems in the African American community. After graduating from Denby Technical High School in 2004, Charles enrolled at Wayne State University and majored in psychology. It was here that Charles first noticed the lack of African American men pursuing higher education and he began to identify possible reasons for the absence of his peers.
