Behrend, Jackie Eileen

Behrend, author, historian, and photographer, was born in Glens Falls, New York. As a young girl, she moved to North Carolina. Her love for history drew her to move to Williamsburg, Virginia. A combination of history and folklore set in Virginia's historic triangle, for this work she was nominated by The Library of Virginia as author of the best nonfiction book in the state. She later brought the ghost stories in the book to life via her popular candlelit walking tour of Colonial Williamsburg.
