Beers, David

David Beers is founding editor of the Tyee (thetyee.ca) an online source of news and views for British Columbia. He has served as senior editor at "Mother Jones", chief features editor at the "Vancouver Sun", and has been published in the "Globe and Mail", the "New York Times", "Harper's" and many other publications. He is a founding member of IMPACS, a Vancouver non-profit firm providing media help to non-profit groups and a lecturer at the UBC School of Journalism.
