Chantelle Yeung went to primary school in Hong Kong carrying her copy of Mao's Little Red Book. She later completed her education, carrying much heavier tomes by Kant and Popper, at the University of Western Ontario. She is thus well informed about the philosophies found on both sides of the Pacific. She provided much of the information in this book and much insight into current events in China and the importance of its long history.
