Dr. Christina S. Beck (Ph.D., University of Oklahoma, 1992) is Professor at Ohio University in the School of Communication Studies. She is the author of two award-winning books on health communication--"Communicating for Better Health" (2001) and "Partnership for Health" (with Sandra Ragan and Athena duPre) (1997), as well as a co-editor of two other books. She has also authored or co-authored numerous journals articles and book chapters, primarily in the areas of health communication and mass communication.
