Beasley, Conger, Jr.

Award-winning author Conger Beasley, Jr. has written about many remote corners of the world, including the Himalayas, Patagonia, the jungles of Suriname, the boreal forest of Canada, and the Spanish Peaks of south-central Colorado. At present he is working on a biography of a mysterious figure named Francis Schlatter, "the Denver Messiah," who practiced as a faith-healer in the American Southwest in the 1890's.
