Art Beels is the founder of World Concern International and has served as pastor in churches in Washington, Oregon, and the Philippines. His book "Beyond Hunger: A Biblical Mandate for Social Responsibility" was awarded the Gold Medallion Book Award by the Evangelical Christian Literature Association.
