Bates, John W.

A native of Bainbridge, Georgia, John W. Bates is professor emeritus of business administration at Georgia Southwestern State University in Americus, Georgia. He is a graduate of Georgia Tech (Civil Engineering) and earned MBA and PhD (business) degrees from Georgia State University. He is an elder and trained as a lay preacher in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). He resides in Hickory, North Carolina.
