DLBemis has been a teacher of Literature, Theatre, and Film Studies for twenty-five years enjoying guiding the rich imaginations of the young and exploring "what if?" with whoever wants to journey along. Her favorite authors include CS Lewis, JRR Tolkien, and Madeleine L'Engle. She has one son and daughter-in-law who have given her and her husband three beautiful rambunctious grandchildren. Bemis loves dogs, grazing in the vegetable garden, and finding obscure adventures behind every written word as she reads and writes in her private grape arbor hideaway.
