Barton, Bob

Paul William Gallico (1897-1976) was born and raised in New York City. After graduating from Columbia University in 1921, he became a well-known journalist and novelist. Today Mr. Gallico is best remembered for the novella "The Snow Goose "and for the touching story on which this adaptation is based.
