Paul William Gallico (1897-1976) was born and raised in New York City. After graduating from Columbia University in 1921, he became a well-known journalist and novelist. Today Mr. Gallico is best remembered for the novella "The Snow Goose "and for the touching story on which this adaptation is based. Bob Barton is one of the founders of the Storyteller School of Toronto and performs throughout North America and the United Kingdom.
