Kaye Bartholomew was born in Seattle, raised in the 50s and educated at the University of Washington. In various incarnations, she has been a mother, a women's rights activist and lecturer, enjoyed a long career in hotel management in properties across the country, and had a short career in gaming in Las Vegas. She writes about the universal in the particular for those who say they don't read poetry with the intent of changing their minds. This is her first book, a collection of poetry, prose and creative non-fiction.
