MICHAEL K. BARTALOS, M.D., is Physician and Co-Chair of the Columbia University Seminar on Death. Trained at the Universities of Budapest and Heidelberg, as well as Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Bartalos has been a longtime professor holding appointments in the departments of Psychiatry, Surgery, Internal Medicine, Genetics and Human Development, Pathology, Pediatrics and Radiology.
