Shane Barr lives in Orlando, Florida with her husband, Dr. Carl Barr, and their teenaged daughter, Erica. Shane and her daughter share a love of various fandoms: Dr. Who, Sherlock, Harry Potter, and of course, the Vlog Brothers. It's this love of Nerdfighteria that drove Shane to write her first novel, Reset. Shane serves on the board of directors for The Be Brave Foundation, a Central Florida charity that focuses on serving the financial needs of families with children fighting cancer.
