Author Elizabeth Barbour worked in the Telluride Historical Museum during the early 1990s and became intrigued with its photographic archive. She has conducted local oral history projects, documented historic structures in Telluride for nomination to the National Register of Historic Places, and explored high country mining camps with names like Liberty Bell and Black Bear. In this volume, a stunning array of images from the Telluride Historical Museum -- many never published before -- bring the past of the town of Telluride and surrounding region back.
