Band, Debra

Debra Band is the author of The Song of Songs: The Honeybee in the Garden (JPS, 2005), an illuminated manuscript and commentary. She holds a B.A. honors degree in history from Concordia University in Montreal and an M.S. in political science from MIT. Apart from books, her work includes illuminated and papercut ketubot and other manuscript pieces and papercuts in private collections, community institutions, and galleries across the United States, Canada, England, and South Africa.
