Balon, Richard

Richard Balon, M.D. is a Professor of Psychiatry, Associate Director of Residency Training, and Director of Master of Science in Psychiatry Program at the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neurosciences of Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. He has received numerous teaching awards and the APA';s George Tarjan Award. He specializes in clinical psychopharmacology (certified by the ASCP), sexual dysfunction associated with medications, and treatment of mood and anxiety disorders.
