Alec Baldwin grew up in Massapequa, Long Island where his father was a high school teacher and his mother raised six children. He attended George Washington University and the NYU Drama Program. He has been nominated for a Tony Award for his performance in "A Streetcar Named Desire", an Oscar for Supporting Actor for "The Cooler", and won the 2007 Golden Globe, SAG, and Television Critics Association awards for Best Actor in a comedy for his work on "30 Rock".
