Robert Baker is William D. Williams professor of philosophy at Union College and director of the Union Graduate College-Mount Sinai School of Medicine Bioethics Program. Founding chair of the History of Medical Ethics Affinity Group of the American Society of Bioethics and Humanities, Baker is the author and editor of numerous articles and books, including the award-winning American Medical Ethics Revolution.
