British cartoonist Piers Baker lives in the beautiful town of Guildford near London with his two grown up children. Educated in Surrey and then Somerset Piers spent a year on voluntary service in Egypt before starting his own graphic design company where he specialised in food packaging design and artwork. He has been illustrating children's schoolbooks since 2000. His comic 'Ollie and Quentin' started life as a cartoon strip for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution before it was taken on by King Features Syndicate in New York.
