Baird, Donal M.

The author, Donal Baird, is a Canadian history writer who grew up beside the harbor of Saint John, NB, the heart of the action in the sailing ship era. He has written also of the history and role of tugboats and of the sea captains' wives who lived on board with them in those tough, dangerous times.
