David Ayala is a freelance illustrator, caricature artist, cartoonist and apparently thinks he is some kind of author now. He attended the legendary Kubert School in the late 80s where he learned to draw silly pictures. Later in life he went to college, because that is what all the cool kids were doing. Four years later he walked out of the door with a degree in general psychology. This same degree most likely saved him from the sheer madness of middle-aged dating.
