Rosie was born in Chicago, Illinois, and showed an early interest in writing and art. She wrote poetry as a young homemaker and took drawing classes at her local community college. After fourteen years in the newspaper business, first as columnist for Th e Port Orchard Independent, and then as Women's Editor at The Bremerton Sun, she retired and her focus turned to writing fiction. She then joined Peninsula Chapter, Romance Writers of America.
