Atkinson, John

After graduating from university with a degree in economics. John Atkinson backpacked across Europe, then look a well-salaried position with an international company. But after four short months and much pondering about what lay beyond the horizon, he quit the job and extensively explored the Caribbean on a sailboat. From there, he journeyed to Patagonia which led to his first sighting of a whale. He has also written numerous books for children.
