Many stories that I have told have branded me as, "Bill, the old story teller." I have on several occasions had a granddaughter and her husband and other children request that I come to the front porch of my house, set in my rocking chair and talk to them. After a few minutes they will say, "Grandpaw, would you tell us some stories about when you were a kid and how things was then?" They will move in close not wanting to miss a word and you can see their faces light up and their brains thinking as the stories are being told.
