Araguz, Jose

Jose Angel Araguz, author of the chapbooks The Wall (Tiger's Eye Press), Naos (Right Hand Pointing), and Corpus Christi Octaves (Flutter Press), is a CantoMundo fellow. Winner of RHINO Poetry's 2015 Editor's Prize, his work is featured in the anthologies Goodbye Mexico: Poems of Remembrance and desde Hong Kong: poets in conversation with Octavio Paz. He is presently pursuing a PhD in Creative Writing and Literature at the University of Cincinnati. He runs the poetry blog, The Friday Influence.
