Dr Gabrielle Appleby is a Senior Lecturer at the Adelaide Law School, University of Adelaide. Gabrielle researches and teaches in Australian public law. She is the Deputy Director of the University of Adelaide's Public Law and Policy Research Unit. Her work focuses on the nature, exercise and accountability of executive power. In 2013, she was awarded her Ph.D. from the University of Adelaide. Her doctoral work examined the role of government legal advisers in achieving integrity in government. Her Ph.D. was awarded the University Medal and the Bonython Prize.
