Barbara Appleby - Author & Illustrator Barbara Appleby was born in Indiana but moved with her family to Kentucky on the beautiful Lake Cumberland. Most of her books are children's and young adults. She lives with her husband and Yorkie Anna. When she isn't writing and illustrating, she loves walking, gardening, photography and painting. She enjoys nothing more than curling up with a good book.
