Lou Antonelli was born in Medford, Massachusetts, in 1957, and grew up in Billerica and Rockland, Massachusetts, before attending Columbia University in New York City. He moved to Texas in 1985 and is currently managing editor of the Mount Pleasant Daily Tribune in Northeast Texas. He has won awards from the Texas Press Association in news, column, editorial and feature writing, as well as for community service.
