Raymond A. Anselment was born December 4,1939, and educated in both Minnesota and New York. After teaching for a year as a lecturer at the University of Rochester, he accepted a tenure-track Assistant Professorship at the University of Connecticut, where he is currently a Professor of English specializing in seventeenth-century English literature.
