Tom Angotti is professor in the Hunter College Department of Urban Affairs and Planning in New York City, and director of the Hunter College Center for Community Planning and Development. and teaches urban affairs and planning at Hunter College/City University of New York. He was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Peru during the 1960s and has opposed US-led wars in Vietnam, Central America, and the Middle East. He has published three books, including Service-Learning in Design and Planning: Educating at the Boundaries, and many articles, but this is his first work of fiction.
