Erich started playing guitar at age 14 on a VERY "affordable" nylon-string student guitar. He started off playing by ear, but then started taking one-on-one lessons with teachers throughout his hometown. Entering college as a classical guitar major, Erich changed his major 3 years later to music business when he moved to Nashville Tennessee and attended Belmont University.
