Growing up on Long Island, Glenna Muller Andrade found to her chagrin that her first novel written in a composition book was swiped by the neighborhood teen boys. Much later, after a three children and a divorce, she studied literature and writing at California State University in Fresno. Even before earning an MFA, she published short pieces, and then taught Writing and English Literature at a small university in Bristol, Rhode Island.
