Anderson, Robert

Robert Anderson preached throughout his native Dublin while also becoming an expert on criminal investigation for the Irish Home Office. In 1888, during the terrifying reign of Jack the Ripper, Anderson was summoned to assist Scotland Yard. He was knighted by Queen Victoria in 1901. Throughout his life, Anderson remained a popular theological preacher and authored seventeen books on the Christian faith.
