Anderson, Jackie

Born in Gibraltar in 1964, Jackie spent most of her adult years in Kent, England, where, after obtaining a university degree, she worked first as a housing officer re-housing homeless families, and then running her own chain of day nurseries and children's play-schemes. She returned to live and work in Gibraltar in 2008. A busy mum to six children, in her rare moments of spare time she has written several published articles on childcare, parenting and early learning issues, has completed her first novel and is currently researching the subject of Gibraltar during the Spanish Civil War for her
